Madini Health Network (MHN) is a nonprofit public health initiative dedicated to improving the health, safety, and wellbeing of artisanal and small-scale miners across Kenya. We leverage multidisciplinary research to produce evidence that strengthens health systems, protects the environment, and informs bold policy reforms in occupational health and mining safety.

We use multidisciplinary research to drive health interventions and policy reforms in mining communities.

Pioneering low-cost dust control equipment and safety protocols to reduce workplace injuries.

Targeted TB, HIV, and STI outreach programs tailored for artisanal mining settings.

Monitoring mercury levels and promoting clean water practices to protect miners and ecosystems.

Training local health promoters to lead sensitization campaigns and mobilize miners.

Transforming research into actionable policies for safer mining practices nationwide.

Collaborate with MHN to transform health and safety in mining communities. Whether you're a researcher, policymaker, or corporate partner, your support drives real impact. 🚀
